Participation in City of Houston Fourth Annual Citizenship Week

Mayor Annise Parker and the Citizenship Week Steering Committee invite you to celebrate the City of Houston’s Fourth Annual Citizenship Week, Celebrating the Many Faces of Houston, November 11-17, 2012. The citywide celebration will feature a week of events highlighting what it means to be a citizen of Houston and encouraging citizens to be active in the community.

We invite you participate in the celebration by holding a special event such as those listed at http://citizenshipweek.org/organize-an-even/how-to-be-an-event-partner/.

Complete and submit the online event proposal form at http://www.houstontx.gov/citizenshipweek/eventform.html to have your event considered for approval as one of the City’s official Citizenship Week events. Approved events will be listed in the Citizenship Week official website http://citizenshipweek.org/

NOTE: The deadline to submit events is Wednesday, November 7, 2012.
