Notice to Purchaser

The Brays Oaks Management District (BOMD) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas. As required by Texas law, sellers of real property located within the boundaries of BOMD must provide prospective purchasers with written notice of the district’s existence and the obligation to pay assessments.

What is the Notice to Purchaser?

The Notice to Purchaser is a legal disclosure document required under the Texas Special District Local Laws Code. It informs buyers of real property that:

  • The property is located within the Brays Oaks Management District
  • The district has the authority to levy assessments on commercial properties
  • These assessments fund supplemental services within the district boundaries
  • The buyer may be subject to these assessments after purchase

Who Needs This Notice?

This notice is required for any commercial property transfer within the BOMD boundaries. Residential properties are not subject to district assessments, but sellers should verify the property’s status.
