It is a strategy to end traffic deaths and serious injuries by 2030 and reflects the Planning and Development Department’s coordination with multiple city Departments, partner agencies, and feedback from community members over the last year.
The initial rounds of feedback have been incorporated in the draft action plan, and now we are giving communities an additional opportunity to share their views on street safety in Houston.

Any questions or comments can be directed to Lauren Grove, Transportation Planner in the Planning and Development Department.
