Houston CIty College

Houston City College is offering scholarships for short-term training programs to help adults gain in-demand skills and get job-ready in just a few months. More than 30 programs are available in construction trades, information technology, health, manufacturing, welding, and truck driving, each lasting a maximum of 16 weeks.

You’re invited to join us for the Connect 2 Workforce Scholarship Registration Fair on

Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
at the HCC West Loop Campus Auditorium.

Attendees will have the chance to meet advisors, learn about scholarships, explore training options, and take the first steps toward a new career. HCC career advisors will be on hand to help students land a job after they complete the program.

HCC Southwest is hosting an Open House on IT training opportunities on campus.

Join us on

Thursday, Nov. 20, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the West Loop Campus, Room C108.

The workshop is designed for residents who want to explore tech training to help start, switch or advance their careers. Attendees can meet with instructors and advisors in a relaxed setting to learn about IT Fundamentals, Cybersecurity, AI Essentials, and Drones (FAA certification).
