This month’s presentation will feature representatives from the City of Houston Office of Emergency Management (OEM). OEM will provide valuable information on emergency preparedness, severe weather awareness, disaster response, and the resources available to Houston residents before, during, and after an emergency.
The presentation will also discuss ways apartment managers and community partners can better prepare their properties and residents for emergencies, including the importance of having an emergency plan, staying informed through official alerts, and knowing where to find reliable information and assistance when severe weather or other emergencies impact our community.
The meeting will be held at the South Gessner Police Station, located at 8605 Westplace Drive, Houston, Texas.
We encourage all apartment representatives, community members, and partners to attend. These meetings are an important opportunity to strengthen communication, address concerns within the community, and continue building positive relationships between the Houston Police Department and the citizens we serve. This will also be a time for attendees to ask questions and engage directly with HPD personnel.
